Learning Outcomes and Application This unit of competency involves the skills and knowledge required to apply emergency management concepts and principles, jurisdictional emergency management arrangements, organisational policies, procedures and planning to decision making. It includes confirming organisational emergency management requirements, contributing to stakeholder awareness of emergency management as well as supporting organisational and community emergency planning and decision making.The unit applies to personnel who are undertaking or are preparing to work in an emergency management role within their organisation and/or local community and requires broad knowledge of emergency management frameworks within differing jurisdictions. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
